How VAT Can Apply to AdultWork Creator Fees
VAT on a creator's site fee is a different calculation from VAT added to a customer's purchase. Your account's location, business status, and verified details can affect the treatment.
Review the actual fee
Use the Credits Statement to identify the service charge and its Net, VAT, Gross, Rate, and Country information. Do not reuse an old example's DirectCam percentage when a newer facility-fee article lists a different rate.
EU business details
AdultWork's guidance describes submitting valid VAT-registration information for eligible EU businesses and potential reverse-charge treatment on relevant fees. Acceptance and scope must be confirmed for your own account; it is not an automatic exemption from every tax or every customer charge.
A group manager's VAT status does not necessarily determine each member's treatment. Ask support about the relevant account and invoice.
Wrong location or earlier charges
If the displayed tax location is wrong, use AdultWork's location re-evaluation or proof-of-location process. Special VAT territories can require evidence rather than relying on an IP location alone. Do not choose an inaccurate address to obtain a lower rate.
AdultWork's published guidance says it does not retrospectively refund VAT simply because registration details are supplied later. Ask support about a specific disputed charge rather than assuming a new VAT entry recalculates the past.
Keep personal obligations separate
The platform's VAT handling does not complete your income-tax return or establish whether you should register for VAT. Use current tax-authority guidance or qualified advice for that decision.
