Why AdultWork Sent a New Device or Location Email

AdultWork sends an alert when a login looks unfamiliar. Check it against Login History by opening the site independently.

Possible explanations

Browser or operating-system updates can change how the device is recognized. Mobile providers may assign different network addresses, and an old device can appear new after a long gap. AdultWork says recognition looks back three months.

An authorized group manager or advisor's access may also explain a login, but verify the activity with them rather than dismissing an unknown alert automatically.

If you do not recognize it

Secure your AdultWork password and registered mailbox, enable 2-Step Verification, and report suspected access. Do not use the email's link if authenticity is uncertain.

The notifications can be changed in Email Preferences, but turning them off does not remove the underlying login or make the account more secure.
