Check your own account first

Make sure the address is typed correctly. If it belongs to an existing account you control, use Forgot Nickname or Password? on the official login page to investigate access rather than registering again.

If you believe the address should be available, contact support through the form linked from the error and explain the situation.

Do not bypass the conflict

Do not use another person's mailbox or create duplicate creator profiles to avoid the message. A different written version of an address may still deliver to the same mailbox and does not resolve who controls the account.

Keep sensitive account identifiers inside the official support process rather than posting them publicly.
