How to Block Countries on Your AdultWork Profile
AdultWork's GeoBlocker lets you choose countries to block from viewing your profile. You can change the list in Edit Profile, under Other Settings.
Set or change your blocked countries
- 1.Log in to AdultWork and open Edit Profile.
- 2.Go to Other Settings.
- 3.Find Blocked Countries and open Edit Blocked Country List.
- 4.Select the countries you want to block. Clear any country you want to remove from the list.
- 5.Select Save.
Review the full list before saving so you do not remove an existing block by mistake.
Why you cannot view your own gallery
If you see the message “This member's gallery cannot be displayed at this time” when opening your own gallery, check whether you have blocked the country you are accessing AdultWork from.
AdultWork's guidance identifies this as a reason creators can be prevented from viewing their own profile or gallery. The message does not, by itself, tell you that your pictures have been deleted.
Check your profile after blocking your own country
AdultWork describes this workaround:
- 1.Return to the Blocked Countries list in Edit Profile.
- 2.Clear the country you are accessing the site from and save the change.
- 3.Open your profile or gallery to check it.
- 4.Add the country back to the blocked list and save again when you have finished.
Removing a country from the list changes your profile restriction for that country during the check. Only use this workaround if you are comfortable temporarily lifting that restriction.
Treat country blocking as a visibility control rather than a guarantee of anonymity. Keep personal information you do not want to share out of your profile and content.
