How to Install the Lovense SplitCam Toolset
The Lovense SplitCam Toolset allows models who use SplitCam to connect their streaming setup with Lovense features.
It's an alternative to using OBS Studio with the Lovense OBS Toolset. Lovense currently lists both SplitCam and Streamster as alternative streaming tools to OBS Studio.
Before you start
Make sure you have:
- SplitCam installed
- The Lovense Cam Extension installed
- Your Lovense toy connected if you want to test toy interactions
- Your webcam configured in SplitCam
Step 1: Install SplitCam
If you haven't already done so, install SplitCam and complete its basic camera setup.
Check that your webcam appears correctly before adding Lovense. This makes troubleshooting considerably easier because you're not trying to diagnose three things at once, a hobby software developers apparently assume everyone enjoys.
Step 2: Install the Lovense SplitCam Toolset
Download the Lovense SplitCam Toolset and complete the installation.
The Toolset provides the connection needed for Lovense Video Feedback to work with SplitCam.
Step 3: Open SplitCam
Launch SplitCam and make sure your normal video source is working.
Keep SplitCam open while completing the Lovense connection.
Step 4: Open the Lovense Cam Extension
Open the Lovense Cam Extension and select the webcam platform you're using.
Go to Video Feedback.
Choose the option to connect to the Lovense SplitCam Toolset.
Lovense supports video overlays with SplitCam as part of its Cam Extension functionality.
Step 5: Test the connection
Once connected, use a test interaction to check that your Lovense feedback appears correctly.
Also check that your connected toy reacts as expected to the tip rules you've configured.
