We understand that not all studios and agencies can be trusted. Stories of unfair practices, stolen earnings, and poor services are common. Additionally, some studios give members a hard time when they try to leave. Rest assured, FlashModelPay is not considered an agency but a payment service for independent webcam models and content creators. With us, you’re free to join or leave as you wish, with low fees and no commitments.
If you’re looking to leave your current studio or agency on Stripchat.com, follow this guide to ensure a safe departure:
1. Ensure Your Balance Is Paid
If you’re worried about the legitimacy of your studio or agency, stop working and ensure you’ve been paid in full before requesting to leave. Unfortunately, some studios and agencies have been known to withhold members’ earnings when they request to leave.
2. Update Your Details
Select the account menu dropdown in the top-right corner and click Settings and Privacy to verify that the email address on your account belongs to you and not your studio manager. If it doesn’t, update it to an email address you control.
3. Request to Leave
1. If You Created the Account Yourself
If you created the account yourself, contact help@stripchat.com from the email address registered to your Stripchat account and ask them to detach your account from the studio. Be aware that some studios have a protection period during which only the studio can action the detachment. If the studio hasn’t informed you of this period, we recommend notifying Stripchat about the situation.
If your account is stuck under a studio due to a protection period, we suggest reaching out to your studio manager and requesting to leave. If refused, you’ll need to wait out the protection period. In the meantime, consider exploring other sites where you can work independently away from that studio or agency.
Whether your studio or Stripchat detaches the account, any remaining tokens will be credited to the studio. This is why following Step 1 first is essential.
2. If Your Studio Created the Account
If the studio or agency created the account for you, only they can detach it. If you wish to keep that account, contact your studio manager to request detachment. While FlashModelPay processes leave requests within minutes or hours, not all studios operate as quickly. If the studio refuses to detach your account, you can register a new Stripchat account. The account connected to the studio will then automatically become inactive.
Starting a new account can often be advantageous, as you’ll benefit from new model promotions.
3. If Your Studio is Blocked
If the studio you are with has been blocked by Stripchat, you will not be able to broadcast. After 7 days (168 hours), or immediately if Stripchat has permanently blocked the studio, a Detach button will appear when you log in.
If the Detach button is not visible, click the Broadcast button to check the timer showing when detachment will be possible.
If you wait at least 7 days and detach your account using Stripchat’s desktop interface, your account will be released with the tokens still in your account, provided they were not already sent to your studio. Otherwise, the tokens will be sent to your studio before the account is released and cannot be recovered.
Following these steps will help ensure a smooth departure from your current Stripchat studio or agency.
