Stripchat Image and Video Upload Requirements

Stripchat uses different file requirements depending on where you're uploading an image or video.

If an upload isn't working, check that your file matches the requirements for that particular section.

Profile photo

Your profile photo should be:

  • JPG or PNG
  • Less than 10 MB
  • At least 200 × 200 pixels
  • No larger than 800 × 800 pixels

Cover image

Cover images should be:

  • JPG or PNG
  • Less than 10 MB
  • At least 400 × 400 pixels
  • No larger than 2000 × 2000 pixels

Profile background

Stripchat allows a photo or video as your profile background.

Horizontal content generally works better than portrait content because the background is displayed across a wide area.

Stripchat lists approximate maximum display resolutions of:

  • Mobile: 390 × 204
  • Full HD: 1892 × 364
  • 2K: 1920 × 364

For background videos, Stripchat's guidance states a maximum file size of 10 GB.

Custom panel images

Custom panel images should be:

  • JPG or PNG
  • Less than 10 MB
  • At least 40 × 300 pixels

Verification document images

Photos or scans of verification documents should be:

  • JPG or PNG
  • Less than 10 MB
  • At least 500 × 500 pixels

Make sure the complete document is clearly visible and readable.

Photos uploaded elsewhere on Stripchat

For areas such as albums and private chats, Stripchat lists the following image requirements:

  • JPG or PNG
  • Less than 10 MB
  • At least 100 × 100 pixels
  • No larger than 3840 × 3840 pixels

Uploaded videos

For videos in areas such as albums, private chats and other content sections, Stripchat supports formats including:

  • MP4
  • MOV
  • MPEG

Stripchat's guidance lists a maximum file size of approximately 1.5–2 GB for these uploads and recommends H.264 video.

Video teasers

Video teasers should be between 15 and 60 seconds long.

Supported formats include:

  • MP4
  • MOV
  • MPEG
  • MPG
  • MKV

Different areas of Stripchat can have different upload limits, so use the requirements for the specific feature you're uploading content to rather than assuming one limit applies everywhere.
