Review Discord permissions for SkyPrivate conversations

Discord's own contact controls can affect whether a member reaches you. Review them alongside your SkyPrivate service connection; one does not replace the other.

Check where messages can arrive

In Discord User Settings, find the messaging and social permissions. Review direct messages from shared-server members, friend requests, and the message-request inbox.

Also check settings for a server you already joined. A global preference may apply differently to future servers and existing memberships.

If a legitimate message is missing, look in message requests or filtered areas before assuming the person never contacted you. You do not need to turn off every safety filter as a blanket troubleshooting step.

Keep the account match correct

Use the Discord account linked to your SkyPrivate profile and plugin. A visible Discord message does not prove the sender is a funded SkyPrivate member.

Confirm caller recognition and charging through SkyPrivate before providing a paid session. Allowing contact, accepting a friend request, and receiving a genuine payment are separate events.
