Understand CAM4 Solo Private mode
CAM4 documents Solo Private as a way to move out of your public room while handling a private session on another platform. It starts without a primary CAM4 private-show customer.
Check privacy before enabling it
The same guidance says Solo Private can allow spy viewers. That means it should not be treated as a guarantee that nobody on CAM4 can see the session.
Before using it, review the actual spy settings and the other platform's rules and customer agreement. Do not promise an exclusive session elsewhere while assuming this mode hides the CAM4 picture from everyone.
Start and end the mode
Open the broadcast window's settings gear and find the Solo Private option. Review the configuration, then enable it if it matches the session you intend to provide.
Use End in the broadcast window to leave Solo Private when finished. Check the resulting room state before resuming public interaction.
CAM4 presents the feature as maintaining directory presence while you are occupied, but that does not guarantee earnings or preserve a particular position. If you need complete separation from another platform's session, do not rely on the name “Private” alone.
