Keep records of your CAM4 earnings

CAM4's creator guidance makes you responsible for your own tax reporting and payments. A platform payout or information report does not complete your personal tax return.

Keep the underlying records

Retain earnings history, withdrawal records, fees, currency conversions, and relevant studio or FLASH payment statements. Distinguish what you earned from the amount that reached a bank account.

CAM4 says creators can request an annual earnings record. Its US ACH guidance also describes tax information supplied through the payment processor. Ask about an expected document if it does not arrive, rather than assuming no document means no reportable income.

Do not rely on the platform's location

An older support explanation links reporting obligations to CAM4 being based outside a creator's country. That should not be read as a promise that income is unreported: CAM4 also publishes DAC7 information-collection guidance for affected EU creators.

Your own filing requirements depend on the applicable tax rules and circumstances. Use the relevant tax authority or a qualified local adviser to determine registration, deadlines, and allowable costs.

Resolve record discrepancies with the payment team before relying on an estimated figure. This guide does not determine your employment classification or calculate a tax liability.
