Set up a CAM4 broadcaster account

Create your account through Create Free Account on the official CAM4 website. Choose a public username, an active email address, and a password unique to CAM4.

Verify the account and prepare the profile

Open the welcome email and follow its validation link. If it does not arrive, check the address you entered and your spam folders before contacting support.

Use a creator email rather than an address that exposes personal information. Review your avatar, profile description, and privacy settings before publishing details that visitors or search engines may find.

Prepare to broadcast

Use a current browser, a working camera and microphone, and a stable connection. CAM4's requirements guide recommends at least 10 Mbps upload for general live-streaming preparation; appropriate video settings still depend on the route and quality you use.

Open Broadcast and follow the available setup. Complete any required age and performer checks before appearing. Other participants need their own required approval too.

Set up payments separately

The Broadcaster Dashboard contains documentation and earnings controls. Follow its current approval checklist before cashing out. CAM4 requires permitted payments in tokens; do not move show payments to an outside method.

A basic account and a completed payout setup are different stages. Creators connecting CAM4 to FLASH or working through a studio should follow their applicable connection and payment arrangement.
