AdultWork DirectCam Requirements and Troubleshooting
Start with a stable connection, an up-to-date supported browser, and a working camera and microphone. AdultWork's creator requirements list at least 15 Mbps upload, 20 Mbps download, and no more than 120 ms ping.
Check the equipment
AdultWork lists Windows 10/11 with at least 8 GB RAM and an Intel i5 or Ryzen 5 class processor, and recommends more capable hardware and 16 GB RAM for broadcasting. It also lists macOS Ventura or later, Android 14 or later, and recent iOS/iPadOS versions. Check the current compatibility page for your exact device before buying equipment.
Use wired Ethernet where practical, or a stable Wi-Fi connection. Mobile-data performance can vary during a show. Test your connection where and when you plan to broadcast.
Troubleshoot in order
- 1.Confirm camera and microphone access for the broadcaster site.
- 2.Check the correct devices are connected and working.
- 3.Close unnecessary programs and tabs, then restart the browser or device.
- 4.Test a supported alternative browser.
- 5.If needed, try a clean browser session and compare results.
Clearing site data can sign you out. Test one change at a time rather than disabling every security setting. For persistent issues, send support the exact error, time, device and OS, browser version, and relevant screenshots. Do not apply unrelated firewall rules from another product.
