What Is the FLASH Vault and How Does It Work?

The FLASH Vault is a savings feature that lets you put aside some of your FLASH earnings and set a goal for when you'd like them unlocked.

You can create a Vault based on either a target date or a target amount.

How to create a FLASH Vault

Open the Vaults section of your FLASH account and choose the currency you want to use.

When creating your Vault, you can configure:

Lock type

Choose whether you want your Vault locked:

  • Until a particular date, or
  • Until a particular savings amount is reached.

Auto-save

You can choose a percentage of your earnings to be automatically deposited into your Vault.

When new earnings are credited in the same currency as the Vault, your chosen percentage will automatically be moved into it.

Set auto-save to 0% if you'd rather add money manually.

Can I manually add money to my Vault?

Yes.

Select Deposit on your Vault and enter the amount you want to add.

You can only deposit earnings from a FLASH wallet using the same currency as the Vault.

Can I change my Vault after creating it?

You can:

  • Change the percentage being automatically saved
  • Extend the target date
  • Increase the target savings amount

However, you can't shorten the target date or reduce the savings goal after setting it.

Can I withdraw from a Vault early?

Yes, but an early withdrawal is subject to a 48-hour cooling-off period.

The cooling-off period cannot be bypassed.

If you reach the goal you've set for your Vault, it unlocks immediately.
