This article explains how AdultWork’s DirectCam pay-per-minute billing system charges users during a show.
AdultWork allows a user to start a DirectCam session even if they don’t have enough credits to pay for a full minute. In that case, the system charges them per second, based on your per-minute rate.
For example:
- Your rate: 0.60 credits per minute
- Per-second rate: 0.01 credit per second (0.60 ÷ 60)
If a user does have enough credits to cover at least one full minute, the system charges them by the minute instead of by the second.
AdultWork applies the first minute’s charge 15 seconds after the call starts.
Using the same example:
- Your rate: 0.60 credits per minute
- User has 1 credit in their balance
- At 15 seconds, the system charges 0.60 credits for the first full minute
- At the start of each following minute, another 0.60 credits is charged
This ensures the platform always bills accurately based on the user’s available credits and your set per-minute rate.
